Insurance and Billing
While we “participate” only with Delta Dental, we work with all other dental insurance carriers. We are also happy to process your dental insurance predeterminations and/or claims at no charge to you.
Payment Options
Our practice depends on reimbursement from our patients for costs incurred. As a condition of beginning treatment, financial arrangements must be made in advance. While we do not automatically bill patients for services
rendered, this courtesy is extended to patients who have established a satisfactory credit history with us. Dental Insurance plans usually do not cover the entire amount of your bill. Your dental coverage is a contract between
you and your insurance company, and while we will fully cooperate In expediting your Insurance claims, you are ultimately responsible for your account. For those who are Interested, we do offer an Interest free Installment plan
so that our patients need not delay necessary dental treatment.
Facilities and Equipment
Our office has been using digital radiography since 2006. This technology allows us to enlarge Images many times over those seen in standard dental films to improve our diagnostic capabilities. Patient radiation exposure using
digital x-rays is also greatly reduced when compared to X· ray images taken on film.
A separate sterile water supply is used for all of the procedures done in our operatories. This safeguards against any possible contamination that might come into the office via the city water supply.
All of the Instruments we use (that are not disposed of after one use) are run through an ultrasonic cleaner, hand scrubbed when appropriate and finally sterilized in a steam pressure autoclave which monitors the amount of time, heat, and pressure produced during each sterilization cycle. Our autoclave is also tested weekly, using spore samples which are sent in to an independent testing laboratory, to make sure that it is functioning properly, and that our instruments are absolutely sterile.
